Emil Eriksrød is the founder of Rising (former R8 Group) and Recreate ASA (former R8 Property), where the core business is commercial real estate. The business idea has been to create buildings people want to work in: Happy employees gives happy owners, which in turn ensures long-term tenants.

Eriksrød is passionate about technology and the environment, and the two-part focus has given the result: Since its inception in 2010, Recreate’s real estate portfolio as of December 2021 has grown to just over NOK 2.7 billion and there are numerous initiatives within technology.
